A question about room service

Hi,

Could you correct these sentences if you have any problem with them, please?

1. I called room service and ordered them to bring me a dinner

2. To procure me a dinner I caller room service

Thanks !

Both are grammatically possible (apart from the "called" typo in #2) but neither is very natural. In #1, "ordered them to" would often be too harsh, and "a dinner" is usually just "dinner". In #2, "procure me" is kind of quaint, and "procure" is in any case too formal and technical a word for this context.
