A question about English grammar

Which of the following sentences is correct?

(A) The English language has a huge vocabulary of over 600,000 words.

(B) The English language has a huge vocabulary over 600,000 words.

I've consulted many people about this question. Most of them said that (B) is correct.

However, I've seen the usage like (A) in many English magasizes. I'm really confused.

Can anyone help me? Thanks.
