can anyone tell me the difference between "make sb do sth" and "get sb to do sth"??

As I know, with GET, you mostly convince/persuade SB to do your business. But with MAKE, you force them to do that business.

Yes. make implies force, insistence, or at least authority; get implies success at a gentler sort of influence like coaxing or encouragement.
