A question

Mr White is a parton of our bank and is personally known to me as a business man of excellent reputation.

I'm sure that you will enjoy doing business with him and that he will appreciate an introduction to the hardware dealers of your city.

What does the word "that" refer to?

Thanks

Dear Qut, «That» is a conjunction. It follows «I am sure». I'm sure that you will enjoy doing business with him and I'm sure that he will appreciate an introduction It is also perhaps «partner in», not «parton of».
