Can it be the heading of a report/article ?

Is this the complete sentence? If this is just the beginning of the sentence, this could be a relative clause:

The sun, today a yellow dwarf star, will someday run out of hydrogen and become a red dwarf.

Just checking, since there was no punctuation in the original post.
