A puzzling question

1. Let us visit our grandparents, .........you?

a. will b. won't c. may

2. She has tea after breakfast, ..............she?

a. doesn't b. hasn't

My answer:

1. I think all choices are correct.

2. a. doesn't

1. None of them sounds good to me, but "won't" is possible if you think of "Let us" as asking permission (not as encouragement, which is more likely to be "Let's"). "will" is barely possible.

1. None of them sounds good to me, but "won't" is possible if you think of "Let us" as asking permission (not as encouragement, which is more likely to be "Let's"). "will" is barely possible. "may" is not good at all.

2. I would also use "doesn't". "hasn't" is just barely possible to my ear, but it sounds like something from many, many years ago.
