A puzzling question

The poor man's first reaction to winning the $1000000 award was total……………

a) belief b) disbelief c) ideology d) contempt

I go for 'b'. I wrote this multiple-choice question and I'd like to know whether it is a good one or not and if there are any grammatical mistakes in the wording of the question.
