- Anita made a........ of money.
a. big number b. big amount c. huge amount

I think that both 'b' and 'c' are correct. Am I right? Is there a rule for using 'big' or 'huge' before certain words?

Is there a rule for using 'big' or 'huge' before certain words? Broadly speaking, huge here is nicer English, more elegant, more educated, perhaps more formal.
