Maybe, the one who made the question meant to choose "a bully"; he might want to make a connection between a bully and going to prison. But I think even "bullied" would be OK. Because they used "and", like "furthermore", it fits both meaning if you just want to report the event.

If they used "although" for instance, like to say:
