I go for 'signal' but my friend says a, b and c are all correct. Is he right? If a, b & c are correct, what is the best choice?

I would choose a. signal too. Perhaps b.

  • I would choose a.
  • signal too.
  • Perhaps b.

Omar Ahmed Is he right?

No.

a is the typical idiomatic way of talking about starting something. It's the best answer.

b is also possible, but not the way most people say it. It's very rare in comparison to a.

I don't think anybody says c or d.
