A puzzling question

……my homework, I took some rest.

  1. a) After doing b) After having done
  2. c) Doing d) all options are OK

I go for (d)

Top answer

(c) is not right, and so neither is (d). Both (a) and (b) are possible. If the question implies that only one answer is possible then it is a faulty question.

Both (a) and (b) are possible. If the question implies that only one answer is possible then it is a faulty question. If the question asks you to choose the "best" answer, for some value of "best", then most probably they want you to choose the simpler option, i.e. (a).

Omar AhmedI took some rest.

This is wordy and extremely formal. It would be simpler to write I rested.
