I've never heard this before. Sounds more like a threat than a proverb.

It was new to me too, but Google brings it up in a few book sources as a German proverb. I assume it means what it says!

It's listed in all the lists, but I find no explanation.
Perhaps she's burning up with passion. It doesn't sound like a threat.
(I don't know very many german girls.)
