A proper way?

Some people write like this, for example, "This ring's value is big"
Other people write like this, for example, "The value of this ring is big"

Are both ways correct? Both basically mean the same, just written in a different way.

They mean the same thing, but have a different nuance, and rhythm. The first (to me) has more emphasis on the ring, and the second more emphasis on the value. ) d

They mean the same thing, but have a different nuance, and rhythm.
The first (to me) has more emphasis on the ring, and the second more emphasis on the value.
(One would probably be more likely to say a value is 'great'.)
