It is a natural place within a city. It has no access to the sea or other waters.I don't know of a specific generic name for that aside from "pond". You might call the ones in your pictures lily ponds. Such water features in city parks often acquire a name of their own, such as The Serpentine in Hyde Park in London or The Pond in Central Park, NYC.
