I work for a big company which sells electronic equipment. When I answer questions on email I often encounter enquiries concerning a particular product and its accessibility on our market. Sometimes the company does not plan to launch a product. Can I say 'This product is not DESIGNED/INTENDED FOR our market' to express the reason for the lack of accessibility in the product range?
Best Regards,
Kamil

It would probably be better to say "This product is not currently available. Any change in this situation will be announced on our website".

Yes, but the question is whether 'INTENDED or DESIGNED FOR' are the right words to express the intention of the producer to market the product in a particular country or not? Does the sentence 'This product is not intended/designed for the American market' mean the same as 'The producer is not planning to launch this product in the United States' ?
Presumably either because of some technical incompatibility or because of a patents or licensing restriction. Be honest with the customer and tell them why.
If you say "It wasn't designed for sale there" you'll still get "why not?"
People here have the same number of fingers on each hand as elsewhere in the world, so it's not a design issue in terms of usability by a person. Our electricity is different, for sure.
