A place I go by everyday

Hey all,

English is not my native language, but as part of becoming better, I need your help completing a sentence:

"There is a pet shop that I go by everyday after work. I decided to go there today."

Don't look for depth, I just wanna casually say it to my friend (without looking retarded)

Is it correct? (mainly the "go by" part)

Would appreciate your help!

Thanks,

Go by is correct. You need every day , not everyday here though. Everyday and every day aren't the same.

Your phrasing is fine. Just remember that there's an ambiguity that lurks:. "There is a house I want to go by" sounds exactly like "There is a house that I want to go buy."
