A guy tries to convince a girl that the reason he had not been calling her is because he had been busy at school and thought that calling her would be a distraction. He repeated that phrase a couple of times "You would have been a distraction" so she pointed that out. However he meant that now he finds the distraction desirable. Here's the clip
