Grammar

A phrase to refer to a person who...

is lazy and unmotivated, and therefore very comfortable with things or acts of charity handed to him/her. I've tried to find a phrase for it, but what came close was "hand-me-down" but is used for an item being given rather than as the person receiving it.

Thank you
