Peter was a kind-hearted boy. One cloudy afternoon, he was walking home from school. On his way, he saw something moving in the box under a tree. He was curious about / curious to know what it was. When he walked forward, and opened it, he was surprised. / When he walked towards the box , he heard gloaning from the box. He quickly opened it and felt surprised.
There were two abondoned puppies in it. They kept wagging their tails at / to me. They looked very cute, but dirty. Peter felt pity for them. They seemed very weak and hungry. In the moment, he decided to bring them back.
When he reached home, he bathed them with /in some soapy water in a tub. After bathing, he gave them some milk and bread. They gobbled up in / within 10 minutes. Peter got the permission from his parents and decided to keep them as his pets. From that day onwards, he took care of them well and loved them very much.
