A person who does different jobs...

I mean someone who's employed by a company and does different jobs (qualified and unqualified person. Who knows maybe in English those 2 are 2 different words ). What are the words in English?

All I know is a navvy but that usually means that is physical work.

Let me just try a few things here. Those are just wild guesses, nothing more haha

-odd job man / worker
-shiftman
-(unskilled) labourer

Top answer

A navvy is a laborer who works on the construction of canals, railways or roads. An odd job man is not normally regularly employed by one company. He gets work here and there, typically tasks like yard work, home repairs and the like.
