Omar Ahmed Which is the better answer 'a' or 'd'? Why? D, because 'sail' is a dynamic verb and the context ('as soon as') suggests that this is said at the time the sailing is still in progress.

D, because 'sail' is a dynamic verb and the context ('as soon as') suggests that this is said at the time the sailing is still in progress.

That said, A is not wrong.

(By the way, I would have written the Italian coast.)
