A perplexing sentence

He asked me just now if I saw the match (the night before / last night / the previous night / the last night)

I think that all options are OK. Am I right? Is it a must to change 'last night' to 'the previous night' , 'the last night' or 'the night before' when we change a sentence into reported speech?

He asked me just now if I saw the match (the night before No / last night Fine, natural / the previous night No / the last night) No But now consider this. He asked me last month if I saw the match (the night before OK / last night No / the previous night Not wrong, but sounds a little unnatural / the last night) No Clive
