A particular way of eating something...

Hi

I don't even know how to word this question..Emotion: embarrassed

I want to know if there is any "term" for this way of eating something when people, especially young, hold some nuts, grams, pomegranate seeds, etc in one hand and then fly them one by one into their mouth.

Hope I am able to get my point across.

Before I even saw Philip's response, I was thinking "pop" as well.

You could also "toss" them, but "popping" is better.
