A particular case.

If I refer to a mental process, the one of feeling serenity, can I say - come on baby hit me - if the idea of the girl is what brings me serenity? I'm not sure if 'hit me' is well used.

It's something I say to myself like I want that thought to arrive and the scenario to be played out.

I want the thought to hit me, her in my mind, like a fantasy that brings serenity. Instead of saying 'serenity hit me', I make her being the source of serenity.
