Essay & Composition Writing

A paragraph to be corrected please,

"Okay, my dear, let's go home now for I should prepare the food for dinner," said she. I saw a very tired but happy look on her face. We went home. While she was preparing the dinner, I climbed on the sofa, threw myself on it and fell asleep quickly. As of 7:00, I had been in so a deep sleep that my father didn't want to wake me up. At 7:30 I finally woke up and saw my mother preparing the table for dinner and my father looking for a channel on the old radio to listen to some music or news of the day, I rushed to the sink, cleaned my hands and face with water and came at the table. We had our dinner in joy.
