Hi,

A simple question. Do we say 'a HR interview' or 'an HR interview'?

Which article would be accurate here - a or an?

Based on the sound, "h" begins with a vowel sound, so "an".

But I would seldom find any use for "an HR interview". It is not a natural expression.

Here is the usual:
I have an interview with HR. (also: the HR department or a member / representative of the HR department)
