A nothing?

Hi. Is it correct to have the phrase "a nothing"? How about the phrase "a something"? Is it correct to have it in a sentence?

eg,

It is a nothing.

He is a something.

Top answer

I wouldn't use 'a'. Sarcastically, one could refer to an unloved fellow employee as 'a big nothing'.
