00I've learnt so far that "nice state of affairs" has a negative meaning and simply means. "It's not a good situation" or "a nasty situation" etc... In the above sentence it sounds as if there is a double negative. I might have percieved the meaning wrongly, though. What exactly is "01b00nice state of affairs"02b00 and 01b00"NOT nice state of affairs02b00"00 0-
