"a" new shoes

Hello everyone!
Can I say "I've bought "a" new shoes" ? Shoes refers to a pair of shoes.

Oh no, never! I've bought new shoes < this is the correct way to say it. You cant put "a" ahead of plural nouns, that's what I've learned.

I've bought new shoes < this is the correct way to say it.

You cant put "a" ahead of plural nouns, that's what I've learned.
It's like saying, "I have bought a new houses/dresses/...etc

Either one. I got some new shoes. I got a new pair of shoes. The only difference is that with the first, I may have gotten more than one pair.

I got some new shoes: New black heels to wear with my dress, and a comfy pair of loafers.

I got a new pair of shoes. They're really comfortable black heels.
