Hi again,I´d like to know if this sentence is correct.

I was going to say.... This one is correct,but I don´t know if It´s can to have other gramatical construction.

I went to say.... ¿is it correct?

I´m gonna try to explain it better.

The two sentences are corrects but my question is ¿Can it have the same use?

Hi Peter,

You can sometimes interchange these, but there is really some difference in the meaning.

I was going to say..... This just states a fact, what I was planning to do. Maybe I didn't want to say anything, but someone was forcing me to say it.
