Essay & Composition Writing

A new generation of entrepreneurs believe that privately funded space tourism will be the next exciting development in space exploration. How true do you think this is? How would space tourism affect space exploration as we know it today?

Along with the development of technology, many businessmen argue that private tour to explore space is a potential form of tourism. In my opinion, this statement has many possibilities. However, this new method will have detrimental impact on society and environment.

On the one hand, there are solid justification to support the idea that there tourist trips are feasible. Firstly, the existing space tourism is obviously adequate to satisfy human demand to discover the universe. This will in turn propel scientists's creation and accelerate the standard of celestial extension which, as a result, devote to our technological industry. Secondly, research has shown that the Earth is more and more polluted and global warming is the most serious problem that Earth residents have to face up every single day. That is the reason why astronauts are intensely looking for a new life-habouring planet, there by paving way for future migration. NASA, for instance, having announced that they found out a new planet which resembles Earth where human probably can live on.

On the other hand, I believe that disadvantages are outweighed the benefits. One reason for that view is that if human set foot on another celestial object, it will require huge range of equipment for scientific research which is extremely costly. Instead of doing that long-term observation, governments should put into practice more practical measures to cope with environmental problems and reduce hunger rates on Earth. Consequently, this will be definitely more effective than seeking for signs of human form on another planet. Another reason is that fragments from old satellite and rocket stages erosion would lead to space debris issue. As a result, the Earth's orbit may become impassable as the risk of space junk grow too high.

In conclusion, although space tourism will bring countless advantages to us, many thing should be done by the governments and scientist to protect our cosmos from being destroyed.
