A name of ....

Are these sentences correct:

1) He had been given a foreign name, but when he grew up he took a name of his own people.
2) He had been given a foreign name, but when he grew up he took a name of his forefathers.
3) He had been given a foreign name, but when he grew up he took a name of his ancestors.
