A Motivation Letter for German student applicant visa

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this motivation letter as a part of the application for German national visa (Studienvorbereitung) to study Masters of Interior design in Germany. Before I will apply for the University, I want to take a language course from B2-C1 in Berlin which is a high-level language course. From this reason, it makes me want to come to Germany for learning German faster and have a good opportunity to learn with native speakers.

I have been graduated from xxxxx University, Thailand from where I received five years Bachelor of architecture degree in the years 2013. After I started working, I had opportunity to try my hand at Interior design despite never having previous experience. However, I had the chance to learn by myself and from my supervisor. After that I was inspired to continue studying interior design due to my work opportunities. Additionally, it has always been my dream to study abroad, with Germany being my absolute first choice. I believe in Germany’s education system, will give me a new Knowledge. Furthermore, I can exchange ideas with a new culture, which cannot find in my own country.

I planned for study master program in next year. Now, I have selected three university, which are Hochschule Mainz, Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle and Hochschule Trier. All these Universities require German language in B2-C1 level. After finishing of six months language course, I will take a test of Testdaf or DSH for applying to the university.

In conclusion, I would be very grateful if I am given the opportunity to study Masters of Interior design in Germany. Being able to study at the University will mean a step further towards my goal of becoming a great architect who can share the knowledge and understanding from Germany’s interior design industry for the development of Thailand’s very own industry.
