A mosquito just flew over me.

A mosquito just flew over me. (In front of my face)
A mosquito just flew over my ear. (besie my ear)

Are they grammatically correct?

Top answer

They are grammatically correct, but "over me" does not mean "in front of my face", and "over my ear" feels slightly strange ("flew past/by my ear" would be more usual).
