Having refreshed his bonds, Puri strode back into Nandita's home to jubilate in their wedding anniversary.

Details of the Nandita and Puri party are sketchy, but close insiders can't seem to giggle enough over Puri's Punjabi numbers and sense of abandon at Seema's do.
Please explain to me the emboldened parts.
