Hi Vsuresh,
"I did commit", "I committed", and "...newly dug grave" are correct, but "committing a mistake" is awkward.
"Commit an error" is heard more frequently.
Most people would say "I made a mistake." "Committed is not incorrect, but "made" is more natural.

The two adjectives sound like they both apply to the noun 'grave'.
ie It's a new grave and it's a dug grave.
