A mini cloze

The following is a cloze and all the answers are given at the bottom. The answer to Question 43 is “hesitating”, but I think “wondering ” is also grammatically correct. What do you think?

Ah yes, sorry, I meant to do that but overlooked it. I would use any of these, which all mean pretty much the same thing:

"I was wondering whether to take the job"

"I was wondering if/whether I should tak
