Hi teachers,

1. Too many journalists, including me, caught at least a mild dose of war fever between 9/11 and the 2003 invasion.

Does that mean the journalists were pro war?

2. To most people the fighting seems far off?

What is "far off"?

2. To most people the fighting seems far off? What is "far off"? -- Distant; not affecting them directly.
