I am trying to connect with a person who I had a job interview with two months ago. Can someone please give me some feedback on the following message?

This is Jane, and I had the opportunity to interview with you for the ... position in July. Thank you again for considering me for the job. I was so excited about working under your supervision, and when I joined the company I learned that you already left. I hope eveything is going on well with your new role. Although we did not have the chance to work together, I was deeply impressed by your broad knowledge, your experience and your kindness. If possible, I would love to keep in touch and learn more about your work.
