A meeting

I received a message to confirm a meeting:

"Saturday morning, 11:00, it is".

What does "it is" mean??

BTW, a student the other day said:

"I like looking at window-shops".
It sounded strange but I did not know what to say. Would you have commented on/corrected that? If yes, how?

Later on when she talked about her last holiday she said she went to Amsterdam and added:

'There was the red light district where a lots of women were in the window, but I did not like it."
Again, the sentence did not sound right, but I did not know how to make it more natural.
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks a lot!

diotima "Saturday morning, 11:00, it is". It seems a bit strange (perhaps deliberately quirky, perhaps just a rushed and muddled sentence). I suppose it means "It (the meeting) is at 11:00 on Saturday morning".

Saturday morning, 11 am, it is. It is here is just an idomatic way of agreeing.

eg
A: Let's have pizza for dinner.
B: Pizza, it is.

Sorry, you're right. I'm afraid I overlooked the fact that it was to confirm a meeting.
