Vocabulary

a matter of word arrangement

I have problem with the word arrangement of the following sentence, as it has several "of"'s:

"Moments were conceived of as points of rupture, of radical recognition of possibilities and intense euphoria."

Does it mean:

"Moments were conceived of as points of: 1. rupture, 2. radical recognition of possibilities, and 3. intense euphoria"?

Top answer

red apple Moments were conceived of as points of: 1. rupture, 2. radical recognition of possibilities, and 3.

  • red apple Moments were conceived of as points of: 1.
  • rupture, 2.
  • radical recognition of possibilities, and 3.
  • intense euphoria"?
  • I would put 'of' with #3 also.
