A man/place or man girl/place

Hi,

In these examples:

1. He's not a man for a girl like you. // This is not a place for a girl like you.

2. He's not the man for a girl like you. // This is not the place for a girl like you.

What's the difference between using the indefinite article and the definite one? Does #1 mean that there are different kinds of men and places for the girl, and #2 mean that there is only one kind of man and place for the girl?

And are both #1 and #2 natural?
