A major to mean a study field without confusion

Hello

I want to mean "major" as a field of study, how ever it be confused as "important."

How can I write the following better and more clearly?

"the specific major field class"

"major learning contents"

Greatly appreciate your kind help.

In academic circles, "major" has a specialized meaning. A "major" is a field of study undertaken by a student, with set course requirements. If you are writing about academics, I would use "major" only in this sense.

I understand your points, but isn't it confusing to readers in some case regardless of what we think?

"the specific major field class"

"major learning contents"

So are the above clear, not confusing, and allright?

If not, how would you write them better?

Thanks

Yes, I find the expressions unclear. But it is hard to clarify them without knowing exactly what you are trying to say. I think the expressions are too compressed.

For "specific major field class," are you wanting to say: the specific field class for the major or the field class for the specific major?

I am at a greater loss as to what you mean by "m

What I mean is as follows:

specific major field class = classes for various specific major fields

major learning contents = learning contents for various majors

How can I write them into better expression or wording?

Thanks

These are clearer. I would aim for clarity over conciseness.

specific major field class = classes for various specific major fields
This is as brief and as clear as you are likely to get it.

major learning contents = learning contents for various majors
This is still a little vague because it still uses academic terminology. By "mjaor learning content
