A lot or much

Hi everyone,

I've got a question. Which is correct, or more natural?

1) I've a few books, but I'd like much more.

2) I've a few books, but I'd like a lot more.

It seems to me that either 'much' or 'a lot' modifies 'more' to strengthen the meaning of it.
That's why both seem to be correct.

Any suggestion?

Thank you all in advance.

Thanks for the reply, Goodman.
But I'm afraid it doesn't seem to have answered my question.

What I wanted to know is this.

1)  I've a few books, but I'd like more.

How do you emphasize 'more' with an adverb or an adverbial phrase?

Do you use much or a lot? Or is it OK to use whichever?

Thanks a lotin advance!
