Hi,
Could you tell me whether "a" in needed in the second sentence?
"Pete is a lorry driver. He drives (a) lorry."
Or perhaps a plural noun is needed here? "He drives lorries"

Or perhaps a plural noun is needed here? "He drives lorries" You could say this, too. However, it suggests that he doesn't always drive the same lorry.
