A lonely girl

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Vera. She was always afraid to speak to strangers and there were no other children in her neighbourhood. As a result, she felt very lonely. Her parents were worried about it.

One day, when Vera’s father found an injured bird in his backyard, he had a good idea. He asked Vera if she could look after the bird. Vera agreed. She took it to her room and looked after it well. The bird got healthy quickly. Vera was very happy to see that. She also found a secret: The bird could speak! It was really amazing. The bird asked Vera to visit its home. Can you imagine where they went? It was a bird world in a beautiful forest! The bird introduced Vera to other birds. Soon, Vera made lots of friends. She was never lonely again.
