A little help with this sentence

Hello everyone,

I found it a bit struggling to understand the following sentence.

" This percentage shows the breakdown of total minutes viewed by region for your video compared to the audience that viewed videos of your page over the 30 last days"

My question is what is there to be compared?

Can someone explain in detail about the structure of this sentence, great thanks!

Yes, this is not well worded. Without knowing the context, I have to guess at this, but I believe they want to say: This information compares the audience of your (current) video to the audience that viewed videos on your page over the last 30 days. The total number of minutes viewed is broken down by region.

  • I am not sure what "percentage" refers to unless they are giving you what percent of the total minutes belong to your current video.
  • Or are they giving you the percent of the total seen by each region?
