A little help for my IELTS essay

Hi everyone,

I'm going to take the IELTS test. If anyone could help me check my essay, that'd be my pleasure.

Thank you very much.

Writing task 2

Topic: Some people think history has nothing or little to tell us, but others think that studying the past can help us better understand the present. Discuss the two views and give your own opinion.

Essay: Mentioning about history, long or short, it has always been a part of our life. Some people state that what was in the past, should be left in the past. On the other hand, some say history appears in present society which is an idea that I believe in. In this essay, I am going to discuss both perspectives on this matter.

History which can be frankly said is what ended a long time ago. Events, cultures, technology all once happened in the past. However, the most important thing is what it left behind. Thinking about how we can manage to develop the world today. We have been taking experiences and knowledge from the past to meet the perfection of society today. Not that history has little to tell, it is an enormous treasure chest especially for future generations to discover. For instance, if we don't know about the Wright brothers' weird invention of an imaginary which can fly, do we now have a chance to fly through clouds?

Researching for parts that are unknown helps build the curiosity and leads to improvement as well as development in life. We have learned history from the elders, books, documents and much more about why we should respect this peaceful era, why we have to protect our countries and why we celebrate traditional events. Consider people who have been under the darkest time of wars. At present, they appreciate every moment of their life, additionally, they teach us to understand and how lucky we are currently.

In conclusion, the past takes a vital part in every self. Even though the part might be considered in varied opinions, I believe that without history, the present will not have existed.

I get the gist of what you are saying, but there are a lot of odd word combinations that detract from your essay. Mentioning about history, (unnatural) long or short, (misplaced modifier) it has always been a part of our life. (Your first sentence is completely off.
