Hi, below are from Mr. Big's love song 'to be with you.

I'm the one who wants to be with you
Deep inside I hope you feel it too
Waited on a line of greens and blues
Just to be the next to be with you

I cannot figure out what 'waited on a line of greens and blues' means.
Does that mean 'waiting for someone, sometimes feeling jealous or sometimes feeling depressed' or something like that?
I thought so because green is often associated with jealousy and blue psychological depression.
