A line for a poem HELP I am begging

I am writing a poem in English and I have come up with a line that says: 'We'll never die cause we forgot how to'. The idea is that love protects those who are in it from believing into bad things, from despair, and, on a grand scale, from death. This line has to be the last. Does it sound natural?
